2026 Cherry Picking Trip - SOLD OUT

Yes you are reading right. This trip is in November 2026!

Steve I has contacted his cherry-picking contact and if all the stars align we should be able to pick cherries on the way home on the Monday of this trip.

What we do for the rest of the days will be decided in the coming months, as it's not urgent.

What you need to do now, though, is contact the Cootamundra Heritage Motel on 1300 130 172 and book your accommodation.  They are holding their rooms for us for the next two weeks.  Let them know you are with the car club.  There are different rooms so different pricing.  Also if you don't need a downstairs room please offer to take upstairs and leave the downstairs rooms for people who will struggle with the stairs.  You can't use a booking agency to book the room you must ring the motel on the number above.

From the motel:

Room rates may  rise come July 1 2026 so I cannot send confirmations but will hold rooms that are booked.  

We will then ring individual bookers on July 1 to send a confirmation and confirm rates.

All room rates each day will be the same price. Currently our rate is $190 so it would not be more than approximately $200.

We have four apartments which are currently $300 and that price will also rise. They sleep four guests.

In total I have 18 rooms and 4 apartments.
